These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Opti Scents website located at optiscents.co.za and the purchase of products from Opti Scents (Pty) Ltd ("Opti Scents", "we", "our", "us"). By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.
1. Use of the Website
- •You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase on our website.
- •You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.
- •You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- •We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our discretion.
2. Products & Pricing
- •All product descriptions, images, and pricing are as accurate as possible. We reserve the right to correct errors.
- •Prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated. International pricing may vary.
- •We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without notice. Price changes do not affect orders already confirmed.
- •Product availability is subject to stock levels. We will notify you if an ordered item is unavailable.
3. Orders & Payment
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email.
Payment
- •Payments are processed securely via Paystack. We accept major credit/debit cards and EFT.
- •Full payment is required at the time of order.
- •We do not store your card or banking details.
- •In the event of a payment dispute, please contact us within 7 days.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping terms, delivery times, and costs are set out in our Shipping & Returns policy, which forms part of these Terms. Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery by our courier.
5. Returns & Refunds
Our return and refund policy is set out in our Shipping & Returns policy. Under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, you have additional statutory rights. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, fragrance names, and design elements — is the property of Opti Scents (Pty) Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:

- •We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or products.
- •Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
